A Quiet Day at Sea.

I don’t know whether it was the constant fog horn in the night as we sailed through the channel or the delayed effect of baby sitting our Grandson at the weekend, but both Sylvia and I were really tired out today. The swell as we cruised the Bay of Biscay certainly didn’t help and the effects of this were felt by many of our fellow passengers.

Up on deck it was a little cool with the wind blowing across the ship but our balcony provided a shelter and it became quite hot in the sun. I took the opportunity of catching up with my book.

There certainly is a lot more going on this ship than there was on the Celebrity Eclipse that we sailed on in May. Lectures, dance classes, crafts and of course trivia quizzes all appear. In addition this ship features a large screen on deck showing some recent blockbusters. Today for instance the main film was “Iron Man3” and tomorrow “The Internship”.

I went to the show this evening, “Destination Everywhere”, good entertainment although a little short at about 35 minutes. They do three shows a night so I suppose I shouldn’t grumble. Finally I took part in a sixties music trivia quiz, I thought I had done alright with 33 marks out of 42 but the winning team got 41. I told you I was feeling tired.

Apologies once again for the late posting and the lack of photos. I’m having trouble with uploading from live Writer which really slows down the process over satellite. I think I may have disabled something when playing with my new website so any help or suggestions from you geeks out there (Oliver) would be appreciated.
